We are always moving forward – always pushing ourselves to go further in our efforts to build a more equitable, inclusive world for our employees, our customers and our communities.
The Role
As a Consult Partner, you will build senior business and technology relationships with energy clients and Kyndryl account teams, translating strategy into value-based outcomes. You will lead small, high-performing teams across multiple engagements—advancing your career in one of the fastest-growing IT consulting businesses globally.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead consultative sales pursuits—shaping client strategies, roadmaps, and modernization programs across the Kyndryl Consult portfolio
- Leverage established relationships across downstream and midstream oil & gas and oilfield services to open doors and build pipeline
- Build and sustain executive relationships with client leaders and internal stakeholders
- Originate, develop, and close new business aligned to C-suite priorities and measurable outcomes
- Partner with account leadership on account planning; lead pursuit teams through solutioning, proposal development, and negotiation to drive growth
- Apply expertise in hyperscaler platforms and agentic AI to identify client needs and land opportunities (e.g., Kyndryl Agentic AI Framework, agentic AI-aided mainframe modernization, agentic AI-aided software modernization
- Provide industry and technical thought leadership—sharing POVs, success stories, and proven modernization principles
- Identify land-and-expand opportunities that scale from consulting entry points to enterprise transformation programs
What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months):
- Build a qualified pipeline within priority downstream/midstream accounts, with clear pursuit plans and named executive sponsors
- Close initial consulting wins and position follow-on work by tying solutions to measurable business outcomes (safety, reliability, uptime, margin, cost, and time-to-value)
- Establish trusted-advisor status with C-suite and VP-level leaders, evidenced by repeatable access, invitations to strategic conversations, and expanded scope
- Lead high-quality assessments, workshops, and roadmap engagements that convert to delivery, with strong client satisfaction and clear value realization
- Create a visible point of view in your domain (e.g., cloud modernization, data/AI, agentic AI, mainframe modernization), contributing to go-to-market assets and executive briefings
- Mobilize and mentor pursuit and delivery teams—building repeatable playbooks, strengthening partner alignment, and improving deal velocity
