We are looking for a highly motivated individual with experience in building brand awareness, with strong storytelling skills and a firm understanding of the 360 marketing approach. The Brand Marketing Director is an extremely strategic role and highly collaborative that works closely with all departments including Ecommerce, Retail, Product, Legal, Finance, and Analytics.

Your life at MAËLYS will look like…

  • Develop brand strategy across all channels and touchpoints including social media, influencer/celebrity/brand partnerships, and PR to drive awareness, growth and ensure cohesiveness across all marketing efforts; Identify new areas for growth and opportunities for the brand
  • Create a comprehensive brand book and guidelines including vision, mission, values, positioning, architecture, etc
  • Ensure the production of online content (including social media content), marketing collaterals, print advertisements, presentation materials etc. adhere to brand guidelines and continue to evolve as the brand evolves
  • Initiate and execute brand awareness guerilla marketing strategies and implement across multiple marketing channels
  • Measure brand health and consistency on an ongoing basis and translate findings into actionable strategy; analyze brand positioning and consumer insights
  • Develop and manage the brand marketing calendar and cadence across all channels and geographies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (media planning, PR, Digital, Social etc.) to drive strategic brand marketing planning and execution while ensuring brand consistency
  • Manage and monitor brand marketing expense investment in line with annual/quarterly marketing budget

You will thrive in this role if you have…

  • BA/MA in marketing or a related field and 10 plus years of marketing experience in the retail, beauty or fashion industry; preferably in DTC
  • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
  • Proven ability to develop, scale and execute brand campaigns and marketing strategies
  • Experience in identifying competitive markets, consumer trends, and sales performance to identify potential opportunities
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking partnered with a creative mind and a can do attitude, flexibility, and outside the box thinking
  • Highly organized and a keen attention to detail
  • High performance under pressure and a strong sense of accountability and ownership
