The ideal candidate is a strategic architect and high-level executor who takes full ownership of the agency’s marketing engine. You don’t just ‘ensure operations run smoothly’; you optimize for conversion, lead with AI-driven insights, and possess the technical depth to audit a funnel as easily as you lead a creative brainstorm.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strategic leadership and conversion-focused ownership.
- Collaborate with Indigo’s Director of Marketing and the Sales team.
- Understand our company’s needs, goals, and objectives to effectively communicate with internal teams and ensure successful project delivery.
- Ownership of all Indigo’s content: social media calendars, weekly emails, monthly blogs, etc.
- Conversion Rate Optimization: Ability to analyze user behavior and heatmaps to suggest high-impact changes to landing pages and funnels for better ROI.
- Advanced AI Implementation: Beyond basic tools, you should lead the integration of AI for data-driven decision making, predictive analytics, and automated lead nurturing.
- Full-Funnel Auditing: Ability to perform deep-dive audits of existing marketing systems (GHL, Email, SEO) and provide actionable, high-level strategic roadmaps for improvement.
- SEO: Basic experience in both on-page and technical SEO, including keyword research, metadata optimization, and site-map management to drive organic growth.
- Multi-Channel Strategy: Mastery of how YouTube, Webinars, Social, and Paid Ads work together as a unified ecosystem to drive the agency’s growth.
- Proactively communicates with the marketing department, sales team, and leadership to provide updates on project status, address any concerns, and gather feedback.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including design and development, to ensure task requirements are met and projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services to existing clients based on their needs and goals.
- Monitor marketing KPIs and engagement levels, taking proactive steps to address any issues or concerns that may arise.
- Embraces technology: Identify and integrate emerging AI technologies to optimize marketing workflows, enhance data-driven strategies, and drive operational efficiency beyond basic generative text tools.
- Ability to audit all of our existing marketing materials and systems and provide recommendations for improvement
- Work with our website design team to update our website and ensure it is inline with our marketing goals and objectives.
Leadership and “Excellence” Traits
- Editorial Excellence: Serving as the “final gatekeeper” for brand voice and quality; ensuring that every piece of content—from a podcast clip to a long-form article—is world-class.
- Responsiveness & Troubleshooting: Setting the standard for the team by being the first to identify a system failure and the fastest to propose a solution.
- KPI Accountability: Not just “monitoring” KPIs, but taking total ownership of the numbers, providing weekly reports that explain the “why” behind the data and the plan to fix it.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in a digital marketing agency or similar company.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep familiarity with the “Indigo Stack”—including GoHighLevel, ClickUp, Google Tools, and HubSpot.
- Paid Media Oversight: Proven ability to not just “understand” paid ads, but to strategically direct spend and audience segmentation to ensure maximum scalability. Expertise in the full lifecycle from initial strategic planning and audience segmentation to technical implementation and ongoing performance oversight to ensure maximum ROI.
