PDK International is seeking a dynamic and outgoing individual to grow our reach through leveraging digital media. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will work as a member of PDK International’s Marketing and Communications team to assist in marketing initiatives with a primary focus on executing lead generation initiatives. The position will report to the Policy and Communications Manager.

Responsibilities Include

• Drafting marketing email copy with an eye towards current and future trends that may aid in generating more leads; and
• Assisting the Marketing and Communications team in the development and implementation of monthly webinars; and
• Designing social media graphics to align with developed marketing plans and promotions as determined by the Marketing and Communications team; and
• Assisting the Marketing and Communications team in analyzing trends and market potential by gathering data and preparing reports as directed; and
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

As a prerequisite, the successful candidate must believe in the core values of PDK International (social justice, excellence, engagement, and results) and be driven by the mission. Beyond that, we are seeking a candidate that has exceptional organization skills and is detail oriented.

• Experience in marketing and graphic design.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Ability to write for various audiences, including secondary education personnel, and district level administrators.

Compensation

This is a contract position with PDK International at $20-$25 per hour, with approximately 25-30 hours of work each week, with commensurate compensation available upon proven success.
