Job Description:

Ahrefs is hiring a digital marketer to help us conduct fun marketing experiments that will be shared on our YouTube channel.


We want someone who’s curious, proactive, and wants to learn by doing. You’ll be working directly with Sam Oh to test and execute strategies across various online platforms.


If you’re the kind of person who loves experimenting, analyzing results, and iterating fast, we’ll get along great.


What You’ll Be Doing:


  1. Collaborating on marketing experiments to achieve key objectives
  2. Documenting your journey as you execute experiments sharing what works, what doesn’t, and how you solve challenges independently.
  3. Helping with video production as needed.


What We’re Looking For:


  1. 2+ years in digital marketing. Experience in SEO is a plus.
  2. You’re organized and can manage small projects independently from start to finish.
  3. You’re resourceful and relentless when it comes to solving problems independently.
  4. Bonus if you’ve worked with Ahrefs’ tools.
  5. Bonus if you’ve worked with a notable YouTube channel.

Additional Skills:


  1. Comfortable conducting research using SEO tools (like Ahrefs) and interpreting data to derive actionable insights.
  2. Basic understanding of WordPress (or similar CMS) – able to build and manage simple landing pages or websites for experiments.
  3. Understanding of product-led content marketing.
  4. Understanding with major social media platforms and how content spreads across them.
  5. Competent in handling content creation tasks from start to finish: writing copy, tweaking visuals, or collaborating on creative assets.
  6. Analytical mindset – you enjoy digging into numbers, tracking KPIs, and refining strategies based on data.
  7. Ability to quickly learn new tools, platforms, or workflows as needed.
  8. General tech-savviness – whether it’s using Zapier to automate a task or figuring out a new SaaS tool, you’re not afraid to tinker and figure things out.
