Now seeking a Technical Digital Designer to join our team remotely, and experienced in fabrication, digital design, and/or 3DX. The Tech Designer would be responsible for translating design concepts into detailed technical drawings and specifications for production. The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver with excellent technical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other members of a design team.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret design concepts and translate them into detailed technical drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with other members of a design team, like architects or engineers, to integrate technical specifications into the overall design plan.
• Specify materials and work with vendors and suppliers to ensure that the materials meet design and quality standards.
• Create blueprints, models, and/or prototypes to communicate design ideas to clients or stakeholders.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and installation teams to ensure that designs are produced and installed correctly.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during the production process and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to ensure that deadlines are met.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial design, architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design software like Fusion360, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Rhino.
• Experience with specifying materials and working with vendors and suppliers.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other members of a design team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with creating digital models or prototypes is a plus.
