The Senior DevOps Engineer will work with application developers to automate and accelerate the development, testing, deployment, and release of applications into a runtime environment quickly and reliably. The position will deliver solutions in a cloud environment utilizing a core suite of tools such as Azure, AWS, Atlassian, jFrog, and others.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Cloud Architecture Design and Implementation:
2. Lead the design and implementation of cloud architecture, adhering to best practices around scalability, security, and cost optimization.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our cloud environment aligns with business requirements.
4. Continuous Delivery Solutions:
5. Provide continuous delivery solutions in a cloud environment (Bitbucket, jFrog, Azure, AWS, etc.).
6. Automate deployment pipelines, ensuring rapid and reliable releases.
7. Proof of Concept and Evaluation:
8. Conduct appropriate proof of concept and evaluation activities to validate proposed solutions.
9. Ensure feasibility and alignment with organizational goals.
10. Technology Assessment and Adoption:
11. Continually assess new cloud technologies and DevOps tools.
12. Guide teams in adopting the latest practices and tools.
13. Development Support:
14. Collaborate with development teams during solution implementation.
15. Assist with focused development activities as needed.
16. Mentoring and Guidance:
17. Mentor other engineers, sharing your expertise and best practices.
18. Provide technical guidance to our technical support, engineering, sales, and marketing teams.
19. Process Improvement:
20. Participate in the continuous improvement of software development processes, tools, and methodologies.
21. Enhance productivity and efficiency across the organization.
22. Technical Escalations and Issue Resolution:
23. Serve as a point of contact for technical escalations.
24. Resolve complex technical issues promptly and effectively.

1. Write product/project documentation as required.
2. Develop ISO procedures related to DevOps and ensure that both Engineering and MiTek standards, procedures and policies are maintained.
