Job Title: Design Engineer

Duties: Regal Rexnord Corporation seeks Design Engineers (multiple positions open) in Tipp City, Ohio to develop software applications. Document software design and requirements. Develop graphic user interface tools using C++, JavaScript, or Python. Create software validation test plans. Participate in software production and quality support. Develop software architecture for pump products. Implement software requirements related to motor firmware on IDE workbench using Embedded C programming. Design, debug, and test embedded software for Device Control Interfaces. Support software development, testing, and production. Translate software design documents and customer requirements into embedded software and firmware. Contribute to software design reviews across business units and respond to technical inquiries from customers. May work from home up to three days per week. Salary: $115,669-$138,802/year.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field plus one year (or Bachelor’s degree and five progressive years) of software development experience. Must have at least one year of experience in each of the following: 1. Documenting software design and requirements; 2. Developing graphic user interface tools using C++, JavaScript, or Python; 3. Creating software validation test plans; 4. Implementing software requirements related to motor firmware on IDE workbench using Embedded C programming; 5. Designing, debugging, and testing embedded software for Device Control Interfaces; and 6. Translating software design documents and customer requirements into embedded software and firmware. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
