We are looking for an experienced DEIB-focused script writer to join our team to drive impact as we scale our DEIB products through on-demand products.

The script writer will partner with the DEIB Content Manager to create video scripts, written course content, and other content for the DEIB membership product.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is familiar with video-led e-learning and membership product systems and engagement
• Has proven work experience in DEIB-specific content
• Is a thought leader with an ability to clearly communicate ideas and concepts related to DEIB
• Has a strong desire to contribute ideas
• Communicates with clarity, intention, and attention to detail
• Manages time effectively and prioritizes execution
• Is open to direction and able to adjust writing styles to fit with PowerToFly’s brand voice
• Shows up as an ally and champions for underrepresented voices through compassion and steps for change
• Is passionate about the PowerToFly mission and committed to scaling impact and inclusion within the company

Key Responsibilities:

• Write video scripts for PowerToFly’s DEIB Membership product that include online courses, microcontent, and video features
• Create supplementary written copy for course lessons
• Perform research and collaborate with SMEs to create course material
• Update internally generated reports and whitepapers to reflect current DEIB practices
• Work with our DEIB Content Manager and Video Specialist to align on content and impact
• Repurpose existing content to create educational materials
• Curate short and long-form content related to DEIB news and trends
• Contribute to company-wide goals by bringing an innovative mindset to the e-learning space

Experience and Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant DEIB experience and proven expertise
• 2+ years of educational content writing or copywriting experience script writing or curriculum development experience
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Understanding of underrepresented populations, including their unique needs and challenges in a global organization
• Demonstrated ability to understand and educate about issues of social justice, intersectionality, global DEIB nuances, privilege and marginality, and multiple, complex identities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to leverage influence and address challenging and often sensitive topics with broad-based audiences of all levels

This position is open to candidates seeking remote work. Remote employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace. They have the ability to work from any physical location of their choosing, with limited restrictions, and this location must be disclosed to the Company. At the Company’s discretion, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support clients as a part of their role. In Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, and New York the standard base pay range for this role is $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 annually. This base pay range is specific to the aforementioned US locations only and may not be applicable to other locations. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance, and location. Pay ranges for other locations available upon request.
