The Day Leadership Academy (DLA), School of Hospitality at Metropolitan State University of Denver is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and meticulously organized assistant. By effectively implementing the DLA projects, the incumbent will spearhead the following key responsibilities:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The DLA Assistant is responsible for helping with various projects undertaken by the DLA and providing the DLA faculty coordinator with secondary work-related assistance as needed. Some tasks are ongoing; others occur periodically throughout the school year. DLA Assistant has primary responsibility for a major project, which may be one or more of the following:
In addition, the DLA Assistant is expected to assist with office duties, such as answering telephones and taking complete phone messages, making photocopies, scheduling appointments, and assisting the DLA faculty coordinator and DLA project leaders as needed.
Terms of Employment:
The position is 20 hours per week for both the Fall and Spring terms.
Summer term is negotiable.

Salary for Announcement
The salary range for this position is $17.29 - $35.00. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, training, and qualification.
Work Hours/Type
This position is 20-hour/week, hours negotiable, Monday - Friday.
