We are looking for a team-oriented individual who will help us continue to expand and grow at our Dodgeville, WI Office and Research Center.
Duties and responsibilities: This person will have responsibility for implementing product request/revisions, managing databases, processing customers, dealers and QLF Sales Reps requests, providing assistance with internal/external customer concerns, distributing appropriate technical material and any other task needed in daily duties of the Technical Department. This individual will support our product managers as needed, assist plant managers and our sales team. Additional responsibilities will include assisting with the QA/QC functions, feed safety and quality, electronic filing and data entry.
Required: Familiarity with the beef and dairy industry. Ability to work in a fast-changing environment, work under deadlines and function well as part of a team. Excellent computer, oral and written communication skills. A hands-on approach to solving problems, exceptional customer service skills. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or concerns; ability to resolve conflicts or issues; Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. A strong work ethic, reliable attention to detail and record keeping skills. Preferred: familiarity with formulation software and/or ration balancing software.
Education: Bachelor’s level agricultural degree preferred in animal science or related field; or equivalent experience. Formulation experience preferred but not required.
