We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Ecommerce Marketing and Administration Assistant to support our thriving online business. Key Responsibilities:
1. Ecommerce Marketing Support:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email marketing, and paid advertising.
- Assist in content creation for product descriptions, website copy, social media channels, and promotional materials to engage customers and enhance the overall brand experience.
- Manage social media interaction, respond to customer inquiries, and help build a positive online presence for the brand.
- Work with the team to analyze marketing performance metrics and contribute insights to improve future campaigns.
2. Administrative Tasks:
- Create and update product listings, pricing, and inventory on the ecommerce platform.
- Assist in processing and fulfilling customer orders, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners, and other stakeholders to maintain efficient operations.
- Keep accurate records of sales, inventory, and expenses for reporting and analysis purposes.
3. Customer Experience and Support:
- Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Monitor customer reviews, emails and feedback. Communicating relevant insights to the marketing and product teams.
- Implement strategies to improve customer retention and loyalty.
4. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize analytics tools to track website traffic, user behavior, and sales performance, providing data-driven recommendations to optimize marketing efforts.
- Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the ecommerce business.
5. Market Research and Competitor Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer preferences, and opportunities for growth.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and promotions to support competitive positioning and pricing strategies.
6. General Support:
- Assist in organizing and coordinating marketing events, promotions, and product launches.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects that involve marketing, sales, and other departments.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices related to ecommerce marketing and administration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in ecommerce marketing and/or administrative support roles.
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms and content management systems (e.g., Shopify).
- Knowledge of digital marketing channels and tactics, including social media, email marketing, and paid advertising.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to derive insights and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer-centric mindset with a dedication to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
- Ability to complete simple photo/video editing tasks a plus but not required.
- Experience with Zendesk a plus but not required.
