We are looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team and work consistently on YouTube content. The ideal candidate understands YouTube storytelling, pacing, and viewer retention and can turn raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos that align with the channel’s brand. The goal is to create high-quality, engaging, and professional videos that match the channel’s brand style. If you are good with storytelling, smooth transitions, captions, color grading, and YouTube-style pacing, this role is for you.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

1. Edit YouTube long-form videos (5–30 minutes)
2. Edit YouTube Shorts
3. Add captions, B-roll, zooms, sound effects, and transitions
4. Improve pacing, storyline, and viewer retention
5. Color correction and audio enhancement
6. Create attractive thumbnails
7. Follow instructions and maintain a consistent editing style
8. Deliver projects on time
9. This role includes: 8 long-form YouTube videos per month, 8 YouTube Shorts per month

Requirements:

1. Proven experience editing YouTube-style videos
2. Ability to produce clean, modern, and engaging edits
3. Good understanding of pacing, hooks, retention, and storytelling
4. Experience with Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Davinci Resolve, or CapCut Pro
5. Strong attention to detail
6. Ability to take feedback and improve
7. Reliable internet and good communication skills

Bonus Skills (Not required, but a plus):

1. Motion graphics
2. Thumbnail design
3. Color grading expertise
4. Basic YouTube SEO knowledge
5. Experience working with content creators

Remuneration: NGN 180,000–250,000 per month (final amount depends on skill level and performance during the test edit)
