We are looking for a talented Digital Experience and Design Specialist for shaping the functional infrastructure and visual identity of our hackathon platform. This role involves conceptualizing and producing high-quality visuals for marketing and digital platforms, while also administering, customizing, and supporting the technical systems used to run events.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Management: Act as the administrator for hackathon platform and associated tools, configuring settings, setting up event pages, and managing access and data.
- Visual Content Creation: Design on-brand graphics for websites, social media, advertisements, and presentations.
- Branding & Assets: Create and maintain branding consistency, including logos, typography, and color schemes for all campaign materials.
- Multimedia Production: Develop digital illustrations, animations, or short-form video assets to promote events.
- Layout Design: Create layouts for brochures, flyers, and digital reporting materials.
- User Support: Provide technical support and act as the main point of contact for participants, mentors, and judges.
- Content Management: Update and maintain internal databases, event websites, and archival documentation.
- Workflow Optimization: Monitor system health, manage user accounts, and ensure high availability and performance of the platform.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 2–5+ years of experience combining graphic design with web or system administration.
- Artificial Intelligence: Understanding of how to ethically leverage LLMs for code, generating images, editing content and more.
- Design Tools: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with Figma or Canva.
- Technical Skills: Experience with web development (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript) and Content Management Systems (e.g., Drupal, WordPress, Webflow).
- Platform Familiarity: Prior experience with hackathon or event management platforms (e.g., Devpost) is highly desirable.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with teams and support participants.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Development, or a related field.
Pay: $59,784.64 - $76,000.00 per year
