We are seeking a skilled and versatile Research and SEO/AEO Copywriter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging, and well-researched content, including blogs and technical articles, for a wide range of industries. These include but are not limited to landscaping, environmental remediation, housing and social services, healthcare, and more. This role is pivotal in enhancing our clients’ online presence, supporting brand reputation, and driving audience engagement through SEO/AEO-optimized content. Key Responsibilities

1. Content Creation: Write 4-6 articles per month, including blogs, technical papers, and thought leadership pieces and short-form content like social captions and newsletters.
2. Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research using reputable sources to produce college-level, accurate, and relevant content tailored to each industry.
3. SEO/AEO Implementation: Develop and implement best SEO/AEO practices, including keyword research, meta descriptions, and internal linking, to optimize content for search engines and AI queries.
4. Audience Adaptation: Tailor content tone, style, and complexity to suit varied target audiences across industries.
5. Content Strategy: Collaborate with marketing managers to align content with client goals, brand voice, and campaign strategies.
6. Fact-Checking: Verify information, data, and statistics to ensure content credibility and accuracy.
7. Editing & Proofreading: Review and refine drafts to meet high-quality standards for grammar, style, and formatting.

Qualifications

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
2. Experience: Proven experience in writing short and long-form content such as blogs, articles, and technical papers for diverse industries.
3. SEO/AEO Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEO best practices, tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush), and content optimization techniques and Answer Engine Optimization for AI platform queries
4. Research Skills: Ability to conduct thorough research and synthesize complex information into clear, compelling content.
5. Technical Writing: Proficiency in writing academic or technical-level articles with proper citations.
6. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
7. Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently.

Preferred Skills

1. Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress.
2. Experience with analytics tools for performance tracking.
3. Basic understanding of HTML or CSS is a plus.
