About the Role
We are a DTC furniture brand seeking a US-based, fluent English-speaking Copywriter to own our brand voice. This is a strategic role: you will develop our brand story, tone of voice guidelines, and messaging frameworks, while serving as the final gatekeeper for all copy across every customer touchpoint.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain brand voice, tone of voice guidelines, and messaging architecture
· Write and refine brand narrative, mission story, and core positioning
· Review, edit, and proofread all copy across website, product pages, email, social, ads, packaging, and customer communications
· Act as final quality gate—no brand copy goes live without your sign-off
· Partner with Brand, Creative, and Growth teams to ensure voice consistency across all channels
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
·3+ years of copywriting experience in brand, DTC, or agency
· Proven experience developing tone of voice or brand narrative from scratch
· Deep understanding of local consumer culture and language nuance
· Strong portfolio showing range: brand campaigns, product copy, long-form storytelling
· Exceptional editing skills and obsessive attention to detail
