This opportunity is for a skilled Fundraising Copywriter who can create compelling, mission-driven content that inspires generosity and motivates action. The role supports nonprofit organizations through persuasive and thoughtful messaging across print and digital channels.

This position is fully remote within the United States, with occasional travel for client meetings, industry events, or team gatherings.

What You’ll Do

1. Write fundraising appeals and donor acquisition campaigns designed to inspire giving.
2. Create newsletters that strengthen donor engagement and connection.
3. Develop email campaigns and digital ads that encourage immediate response.
4. Produce clear, persuasive, and audience-focused copy for a variety of nonprofit initiatives.
5. Adapt writing style to reflect different organizational voices, tones, and messaging frameworks.
6. Contribute to messaging audits and creative strategy discussions.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality client work.
8. Support department initiatives that improve creative standards and overall team performance.
9. Manage multiple projects at once while meeting deadlines.
10. Edit, proofread, and refine copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, and impact.

Qualifications

1. At least 3 years of professional experience writing fundraising copy.
2. Demonstrated ability to write in different organizational voices and styles.
3. Strong grammar, proofreading, and editing skills.
4. Ability to manage multiple assignments and tight deadlines effectively.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
6. Comfort using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude.
7. Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
8. Strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
9. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
10. Excellent communication skills, including listening and persuasion.
11. Consistent professionalism and respectful communication.
12. Comfort working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Pay: $70,000 to $75,000 annually
