Overview:

Are you detail-oriented and deadline-driven with demonstrated experience editing copy in AP style?

LRP Media Group a media powerhouse for the last 40 years, is currently seeking a Copy Editor (Hybrid) to join their stellar Education Team. This entry level position will be assisting the copyediting process and web content of the Education division’s various products with a mix of short- and long-term deadlines. 

Responsibilities:

Some of your job responsibilities will include…….

• Copy edit content for books and pamphlets, webinars, conferences, and eLearning courses.
• Copy edit and submit to Production content for monthly newsletters using Adobe InCopy.
• Copy edits stories for clarity, grammar, and overall presentation.
• Participate in monthly copy editors’ meeting, where style guidelines are reviewed, updated, and revised. 
• Post finished stories to education websites.
• Develop and send summary of stories posted to the site for e-newsletters.

Position Requirements:

You must have the following……..

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 1 year experience with direct copy-editing experience.
• Experience with using AP Style 
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule, which includes 2 days in our Palm Beach Gardens, FL office.
• Familiarity or ability to learn quickly the publishing software, specifically Adobe InDesign. 
• Demonstrated web research skills a plus.
