Peak Performers has partnered with a consumer packaging company to assist in their search for a Continuous Improvement Specialist. In this role, you will provide change management leadership and Lean Six Sigma expertise to facilitate cost savings and quality improvement projects within the operations cost centers, business groups, or corporate functions.

Major duties

Coordinate, mentor, and guide Six Sigma Black Belt projects

*
Arrange and lead Lean WCO Events, fostering efficiency

*
Implement impactful enhancements in processes and financial aspects

*
Develop and convey WCO initiatives, sharing outcomes with management

*
Record WCO Program, update CI database, and present project reports

*
Lead GEMBA involvement, conduct process measurements, and facilitate data analysis

*
Contribute to project selection and prioritization within the organization

*
Engage actively in Lean Six Sigma events, projects, and talent cultivation

*
Communicate effectively across all organizational levels

*
Facilitate team building, organizational leadership, and change management practices

What are we looking for

*
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred

*
Proficient in computer/technical literacy, with strong Excel/PowerPoint and database skills; familiarity with Minitab or similar statistical software is preferred

*
Experience as a Green Belt/Black Belt

*
Proven success in project management

*
Ability to demonstrate proficiency in utilizing WCO tools and methodology

*
Possess expertise in WCO/TPM, project management, and coaching

*
Utilize statistical tools/methodologies, computers, quality methods, and basic financial principles

*
Familiarity with OSlsoft PI Platforms, Minitab, Python, or Visual Basic/Applications (VBA) is advantageous

*
Data Analytics or Data Science experience preferred

*
Strong analytical and research skills, technical literacy, team facilitation, adaptability, and multitasking

*
Strong interpersonal abilities, leadership and management skills, multicultural sensitivity, planning and organizing skills, problem-solving, and reasoning skills, and effective teamwork
