Job Title: Content Designer (UX Writer)

Duration of Assignment: 3+ Months

You must be a superb writer and editor. Writing is editing. You must be able to do both effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct content audits and evaluate existing experience
• Create content strategy based on business requirements, including information architecture and user flows
• Work with leadership, UX team, and project management to establish sprint deliverables
• Produce microcopy including instructions, menus, labels, and alerts. Other content may include landing pages, emails, and site documentation.
• Research, evangelize, and follow best practices for content strategy and UX writing
• Collaborate closely with designers
• Track down answers from subject matter experts and other partners
• Build alignment between UX team members, product managers, and developers

Your background

• 3-5+ years of experience as a UX writer, information architect, or content strategist
• A portfolio showcasing clear, concise UX writing and accurate, engaging informational content
• At least a few successful design projects
• Comfortable with ambiguity and asking for help
• Self-directed but enjoys collaborating too
• Used to hitting deadlines and helping manage expectations for your deliverables
