Trace is a global research marketplace connecting customers with researchers. We're a team of 10 working with professional genealogists, private investigators, archivists and historians.

We are looking for a creative writer with a passion for history who can convey information about historic events and people in a way which engages audiences. Writer must have the ability to conduct in-depth research drawing from multiple, factual primary and secondary sources, as well as the ability to submit work in a timely manner and incorporate feedback from an editor.

Responsibilities will include at least one historical interest article per week, with the option to expand as needed.

Interested applicants should submit two to three samples of their writing, ideally published works.
