Brief Description

Nextant is looking for an experienced Content Writer 2 for our client. The main function of a Content Writer is to write technical materials, such as equipment materials, appendices, or operating and maintenance instructions. A typical technical writer is responsible for organizing, editing, and maintaining technical records and files.

Responsibilities:

• Organize material and complete writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
• Maintain records and files of work and revisions.
• Confer with the client to establish technical specifications and determine the subject material to be developed for publication.

Requirements:

• 3-5 Years of Technical, Marketing, and Business Operations Content Writing.
• Experience writing technical/training manuals for larger retail organizations.
• Writing for external audiences.
• Microsoft Experience.
• Experience with Process Writing/Process Design (provide samples if you’d like).
• Experience Editing for clarity/tone/voice.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary for this position in Washington is $85,000 - $91,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Nextant considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Candidate must be in Washington, Florida or Texas.
