This producer should be excited by a variety of stories and storytelling techniques to help create a balanced, exciting, and informative show. They will want to share their ideas to make our newscasts stand out from our competitors.

Responsibilities

Requirements

 

• Own breaking news in coordination with producers and on-air team
• Line produce newscasts regularly on an as-needed basis
• Produce content and engagement for broadcast, digital and social media
• Write content for 9News.com
• Have a voice in the content and transformation of 9NEWS Mornings
• Be a leader in the newsroom

 

Requirements

 

• College degree in journalism, communications or similar preferred
• 1-3 years full-time newscast producing experience
• Ability to work well with a team

 

Pay range: $26.45 - $28.85 per hour. Salary is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
