Position Title: Content Marketing Intern

• Internship Length: May - Aug 2024
• Hours Expectations: 20-25 hours a week.
• Monday – Wednesday: Flexible Hours- Core Business Hours 10am-3pm MST

Reports to: VP of Digital Experience

Position Location: Hybrid Position. Candidate must reside in Colorado. Some hours in the office will be required.

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Content Marketing Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating compelling content, a strong understanding of digital marketing principles, and excellent communication skills. This internship offers hands-on experience in content creation, social media management, and marketing strategy.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Partner to define blog post roadmap, including collaborating with key contributors to develop content.
• Partner with product and design teams to create market vertical content.
• Partner with design and sales teams to enhance sales collateral.
• Partner with design and product to develop feature copy for the Cinchio website.
• Help develop and recommend a social media strategy that fits Cinchio and the industries they serve.

Minimum Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content. Understanding of brand tone, style, and the structure of various forms of writing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other standard software solutions.
• Basic knowledge of SEO principles and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
• Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
• Competence in conducting thorough research to gather information, verify facts, and understand industry-specific topics relevant to the writing tasks.
• Creative thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Prior experience in content creation, digital marketing, or related fields is a plus but not required.
