Job Description:

We are looking for a Content Manager to edit and manage our content production and publishing workflow.

Position Description & Responsibilities



The role is remote and starts at 20 hours per week with a path to expanded responsibility and full-time hours. The successful candidate will be organized, tech-comfortable, and professional. You will work with firm leadership to ensure all content is polished, optimized, and published on schedule.



  1. Edit attorney-authored content for clarity, readability, and brand voice.
  2. Optimize each piece for search, including title tags, meta descriptions, header structure, keyword placement, and internal linking.
  3. Publish content on WordPress, handling all formatting, image placement, and taxonomy.
  4. Manage the editorial calendar in our project management system, track attorney assignments, and keep production on schedule.
  5. Prepare and send our biweekly newsletter in Mailchimp.
  6. Monitor basic performance metrics and flag opportunities to update or consolidate existing content.



Requirements



  1. Strong editorial judgment is the core requirement.
  2. Working knowledge of on-page SEO is required. The successful candidate does not need to be a technical SEO specialist but should understand how search works and how to optimize content.
  3. WordPress proficiency to post blogs and content is required.
  4. Mailchimp familiarity.
  5. Prior experience in a professional services, legal, or healthcare environment is preferred.
  6. Organized, reliable, and comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
  7. Exceptional attention to detail.

Hours and Location



This is a fully remote position. Hours are flexible and not fixed to a set schedule. The expected commitment is 20 hours per week.
