Coop is looking for a talented Social Media Creator to join our Marketing team as full-time employee. This creator will be based in Coop’s Southern California office and be responsible for the concepting and creation of social media content, and its distribution.

Hybrid, 2-3 days in office at the HQ in Costa Mesa, Ca.

Concepting

Develop social media concepts based off creative briefs to support our Brand, product and seasonal initiatives across Coop’s social platforms: FB, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest & LinkedIn

Content creation and management

• Create, edit and produce digital content packages – including photo, video, and graphics – for social/digital platforms for the marketing team.
• Stay current on new tools, platforms and social media trends and develop campaigns that reflect those insights
• Optimize social content and process based on analytics and content performance reports
• Work with social media companies to have regular update on best practices and upcoming social products

Essential Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field

• 2-8+ years’ experience with social media marketing and/or digital content creation
• Production capabilities – Videography & editing, photography, caption writing and graphics capabilities.
• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling
• Ability to analyze performance of various content and develop plans, schedule and concepts to deliver optimum outcomes.
• Cross social platform scheduling, programming and performance analysis
• Excellent English and Spanish speaking/writing skills
• Outstanding interpersonal relationship building skills
• A strong work ethic, always demonstrating integrity.

The ideal candidate will be incredibly passionate about the digital space, creating an environment poised for innovation, while demonstrating diplomacy, a highly collaborative spirit, excellent judgment and is business savvy. In this extremely fast-moving environment, it’s critical that this individual has a high degree of energy, flexibility, and positivity to work across multiple countries/time zones.
