What You’ll Be Doing
Having grown substantially in the last two years with no sign of slowing down, BeatStars is seeking an experienced, digitally savvy Content and Social Media Manager to help us better engage with our music community. The Content and Social Media Manager will be responsible for strategizing, planning, implementing, managing, and monitoring the company's social media strategy and content in order to increase brand awareness, social media following, and drive conversions to BeatStars products and services.. This role reports to the VP, Marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and manage the company’s social media strategy across all platforms
- Collaborate with the rest of the marketing team to align and scale social-media content needs for top, middle and bottom of the funnel. This includes post copy, video, imagery, interactive tools, etc.
- Recommend and define content formats and topics to meet messaging needs and achieve business objectives
- Define and manage a social-media content calendar, content production/development, delivery schedules, and cross-functional processes with key stakeholders
- Provide social trend forecasts and reports
- Utilize data and tools to monitor and evaluate current content distribution. Monitor comments/feedback and client outreach
- Grow, maintain and track the performance of a network of collaborators/influencers
- Channel Optimization: Update and professionalize our social media presence to best serve our followers; growing follower/subscriber base, and potential monetization of current social media presence
What You’ll Need
- 5+ years of B2C or SaaS content marketing or digital marketing experience
- Direct experience working across Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Discord, etc
- Previous experience with social media management and analytics tools
- Intuitive understanding of consumer branding with an ability to naturally adopt our brand's tone of voice & visual identity
- Creative and resourceful; always on the lookout for new and exciting ways to connect with audiences
- Strong strategy skills; can help develop and execute the social media marketing strategy for various products
- Strong math skills and an analytical mindset; enjoy finding the "why" behind the numbers
- Multitasker extraordinaire; able to handle multiple projects without missing deadlines
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Knowledge of music and culture trends is a must.
- Experience with the BeatStars website is a plus

Compensation:
This salary/OTE range represents the low, middle, and high end of the salary or OTE (Sales roles only) range for this position, and is subject to change. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Salary/OTE is just one component of our total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for additional benefits and perks BeatStars has to offer.
Preferred locations to hire are in the United States. This is a US-based role only. No other locations will be considered at this time. The remote salary range for this role is as follows: $85,000-110,000 USD
BeatStars is a globally distributed team. To support collaboration across regions, we operate with core working hours designed to ensure meaningful overlap across teams:

- PT (US): 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- CT (US): 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- ET (US): 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- GMT+1 (UK & Portugal): 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- GMT-3 (Brazil): 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- GMT+2 (South Africa & Germany): 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
While we generally have the flexibility to build an 8-hour work day, we ask for flexibility during core hours, as from time to time, it may be needed to attend global calls that cover more than 2 time zones during these hours. We ask folks to schedule events when possible, at least 3 working days in advance.
