I'm working with a religious institution in Boston, MA looking for a Content and Communications Specialist to join their team! Schedule: Monday - Friday onsite. Must have the willingness to adjust work hours as needed and will work occasional evenings/Sundays (about 10 times/year). Must be available to work on Christmas and Easter.

Position Overview:

The Content and Communications Specialist will be responsible for creating and managing content across multiple platforms to engage and inform the community. The role includes maintaining the institution's social media channels and website, designing flyers and advertisements, and writing bulletins, announcements, and other communications materials.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain social media posts, website updates, and other digital content that aligns with the institution’s mission and values.
2. Use InDesign to create visually appealing flyers, advertisements, and signage to support events, programs, and community outreach.
3. Write, edit, and publish weekly bulletins, announcements, and other written materials.
4. Assist with content and communications needs for events, including occasional evenings and Sundays (advanced notice provided).
5. Work closely with the team to ensure consistent and engaging communication across all platforms.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree required.
2. Demonstrated writing experience and proficiency with InDesign.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong sense of creativity and attention to detail.
4. A collaborative spirit to work effectively within a diverse and supportive team environment.
