These positions support a Navy contract, and are two years to start with an option to extend additional years. This is a very good group to work for, and they have demonstrated that there is room to grow. The salaries for these positions range from $65,000 to $85,000 depending on your current skills and recent experience.

[The Less Senior - $65K - $70K] Computer Support Technician Qualifications:

 

 

• Perform operations and maintenance of hardware and software in disparate locations across the US by diagnosing or repairing various computer hardware or software components.

• Maintain responsibility for performing the assembly of new computer hardware and software set–up and installation by procuring related components.

• Conduct acceptance or validation testing of new and existing software that has been custom written, install third–party software, and manage related licenses.

• Work collaboratively and professionally with other team members and interface with both technical and non–technical persons.

• Document solutions and product user guide, as needed.

• They will be supporting a group of 100 people.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

 

• Must have an Active Secret clearance

• 3+ years of experience with proficiency in computer repair and troubleshooting of problems if they have a bachelor’s degree, and if they do not have a Bachelor’s Degree then they need at least 6 years’ experience in Information Technology computer repair and troubleshooting.

• Experience in software deployment, networking, and Microsoft's Active Directory software required

• Knowledge of PC hardware and peripherals

• Knowledge of embedded systems –

• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
