Our client, a global leader in energy management, is seeking a Communications Specialist to join their team! This is a remote, part-time contract role expected to last 6–12 months, with working hours aligned to the Eastern Time Zone.
The Communications Content Specialist is responsible for developing content to support strategic communications and thought leadership strategies to position the company and the data center business division’s key priorities and offers favorably amongst influencers and customers. This role works closely with the regional marketing strategy team and regional executive leaders.
Contract Duration: 6-12 Months
Schedule: 25-30 hours per week
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience with AI in data centers
- Understanding of utility and grid infrastructure
- Exposure to /background with energy management companies
- Data Center functions
- Experience with tech writing in different areas of technology
- 3-7 years’ experience
- Bachelors in a related field, journalism, marketing, writing, PR
What You Will Be Doing
- Executive LinkedIn content
- Meet with executives and Strategic Communications Manager to discuss content topics and writing styles
- Draft posts on monthly / bi-monthly basis
- Monitor metrics and account engagement
- Update monthly global executive social media score card
- Establish and manage blog calendar
- Create social content to promote blog posts on Data Centers and for executives and marketing team
- Competitor Analysis
- Bi-weekly reports on competitor activity on social media, press releases, media coverage, etc. - Monthly Media Coverage Recap
- KPI Update: Analyze number of articles, interviews, and thought leadership content to provide a snapshot of the month’s numbers per country
- Event support as needed
