The project is seeking clinicians in the United States who are familiar with or frequently use the Wechsler Individual Achievement Test, 4th edition (WIAT-IV) and/or the Adaptive Behavior Assessment System, II (ABAS-II) to help test a cognitive assessment.
The following professionals are invited to participate in data collection as examiners:
- Individuals with master’s degrees or above in related fields, including but not limited to Psychology, Social Work, Education, etc.
- Graduate students in the above fields who have experience administering the WIAT-IV and/or ABAS-II may be qualified to work as field examiners.
- Other professions may qualify if they have training in individualized assessments.
Key Requirements:
- Available to work from late January 2024 through April 2024.
- Experienced with administering one of the following: Wechsler Individual Achievement Test-Fourth Edition (WIAT-IV) or Adaptive Behavior Assessment System-II (ABAS-II).
- Able to recruit examinees through personal and professional networks.
- Have access to populations of children and young adults from harder-to-reach demographics (e.g., minority ethnicities, lower parental education)
- Must have access to physical space to conduct assessments. Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi and the ability to conduct assessments using an electronic device (e.g., iPad).
- Willing to sign a proprietary information non-disclosure agreement RTI.
- Able to adhere to all project and reporting guidelines.
- Able to maintain the confidentiality of the research materials.
Virtual training will be provided. The projected rate of pay for the work will be $80/hour for assessment completion. The total administration time is approximately 60-90 minutes per assessment.
