Position: Civil Engineer with Petrochemical Experience

 

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer with experience in the petrochemical sector to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering principles, with specialized knowledge in designing, constructing, and maintaining infrastructure for petrochemical facilities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, plan, and execute civil engineering projects within the petrochemical industry.
  • Conduct site assessments and surveys to identify project requirements and constraints.
  • Develop detailed engineering designs, including site layout, foundations, structural components, and utility systems, adhering to industry codes and standards.
  • Perform feasibility studies, cost estimates, and risk assessments for proposed projects.
  • Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle, from conceptual design to construction and commissioning.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to oversee project implementation and resolve any technical issues or challenges that may arise.
  • Conduct quality assurance and quality control checks to ensure the integrity and reliability of civil engineering systems and structures.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Minimum of [5] years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on petrochemical projects.
  • Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools, such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, and other civil engineering design software.
  • Solid understanding of petrochemical processes, equipment, and facilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
