Contract-to-hire opportunity: A Civil 3D CAD Technician is needed for a leading EPC firm. The CAD Drafter will support high-voltage Substation & Transmission Line design projects for electric utility clients.

Qualified candidates must have 1+ years of drafting experience, be proficient in AutoCAD, and ideally familiar with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D is advantageous, and a CAD Certificate or AS degree in Drafting Technology is required. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with excellent communication skills and high motivation, are essential for success in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide CAD drafting support for high-voltage transmission line engineering projects
• Utilize AutoCAD tools for civil design related to overhead transmission lines
• Revise existing drawings and prepare basic components from instructions or sketches
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all drafted work before engineering review
• Apply client standards to drafting activities
• Support growth and upward mobility opportunities within the organization
