We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer with land development and water resources experience for our Wixom, Michigan office. This person will be responsible for preparation of detailed engineering drawings for single family residential, multi-family residential, senior living, retail and hi-tech industrial projects throughout Michigan and the Midwest.

• Assist in establishing project goals, tasks and schedules.
• Perform engineering design calculations and prepare engineering design plans utilizing AutoCad and various additional computer software programs for GreenTech projects.
• Attend internal design meetings with project team.
• Communicate with municipalities, and outside review agencies as directed.
• Prepare drawings and construction documents.
• Modify plans as reviewed by agencies, municipalities, and clients.
• Provide construction-related services.
• Prepare permit applications, quantity, and cost estimates.
• Serve as technical expert.
• Resolve construction issues.

Requirements
2+ years of experience in Land Development - Residential and Commercial
BS in Civil Engineering, Professional Engineering License preferred
Capable of managing multiple priorities with a strong deadline orientation
Ability to direct others
Communication skills and the ability to work on a team are essential
