We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and innovative individual to fill the role of CEO for our fast-growing technology company. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in Sales & Business Development Operations, particularly in a fast-scaling technology environment. This role offers an incredible opportunity to lead and shape our company's strategic direction, drive growth, and make a significant impact.

Responsibilities

As the CEO, you will be responsible for
 

• Setting the company's strategy and direction, creating a clear vision for the company's future and ensuring alignment amongst the team.
• Building and leading a high-performing executive team to execute the company's strategic plan.
• Developing and implementing a sales and business development strategy that ensures the company's financial targets are met or exceeded.
• Overseeing daily operations and making key decisions that affect the company's direction.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with partners, stakeholders, and potential customers.
• Guiding the company's investment strategy and ensuring financial performance and growth.
• Ensuring the company's policies and procedures meet all legal and ethical standards.
• Serving as the company's primary spokesperson to the company's constituents, the media, and the general public.
• Driving the company's cloud-based SaaS product portfolio to achieve market leadership.
• Building teams from scratch or scaling organizations to meet the company's growth objectives.
   

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the CEO role should have
 

• At least 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role in a fast-scaling technology company.
• Proven experience in Sales & Business Development Operations.
• Strong experience with cloud-based SaaS.
• Hands-on experience in building teams from scratch or scaling organizations.
• Experience in the higher education or EdTech industry is a must.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
• Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
• Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred.
