We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in processing multi-state payroll and a solid understanding of payroll regulations and compliance. You will play a critical role in ensuring payrolls are accurately and timely processed for clients while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Process and manage payroll for clients accurately and timely
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
-Work with clients to ensure accurate employee data and payroll information
- Perform data entry tasks to input employee hours, deductions, and other payroll-related information
- Promptyly reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or errors
- Collaborate with other team members by offering support, knowledge sharing, and assistance when needed

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 year of experience in payroll processing or related field
- Proficient in using payroll software such as Asure, Paylocity or equivalent
- Proficient in using Excel and Google Workspace
- Familiarity with human resources practices and regulations
Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, organizational and time management
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients regarding payroll inquiries or issues
- Knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and tax compliance
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position reports to the Payroll Manager and has no supervisory responsibilities

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
