We are rapidly expanding our Catastrophe Operations and are looking for qualified Property Field Managers to join our team.
Overview
Responsible for the daily supervision of employees through effective leadership and management to achieve the key business strategies of the organization. Must possess the knowledge and skills to deliver effective performance management, communication, relationship building, decision making, and customer service in claims handling. Responsible for evaluating the present and future resource needs for employees and provide the leadership, mentoring and guidance necessary to build and sustain a high performing workforce.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Considerable property field claims experience with one or major insurance carriers
- Prior Management, Team Lead or Training experience preferred
- Proficient use of technology; including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Web-enabled applications and database software
- Advanced knowledge of Xactimate; Level III Xactimate Certified, preferred
- Must hold resident adjuster's license
- Solid interpersonal and customer service skills
- Possess advanced claims technical knowledge combined with the ability to teach
- Demonstrate strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; communicates frequently in a clear, concise manner
- Able to understand and articulate claims operations in a way that drives and achieves team(s) results
- Effectively manage workload through planning, prioritizing, organizing and attention to detail
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance, direction and feedback to staff through continuous management involvement and claim file review
- Provide face-to-face and written guidance to ensure effectiveness, engagement, accuracy and efficiency
- Review new claim notices, ensuring claims are assigned to staff with appropriate skill sets
- Adhere to the organization’s policies and procedures, including time management, regulatory and compliance, confidentiality
- Catastrophe Managers will work directly with Alacrity and Client Leadership to ensure operational success
- Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice and for extended periods of time
- Travel expectations for Catastrophe Managers may range from 180 – 210 days per year
- This position requires the ability to climb a ladder and perform physical inspections of dwellings

- Competitive base salary with a 20% discretionary bonus target
