We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CAD Drafter to join our innovative design team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and 3D models that bring architectural, engineering, and construction projects to life. Your expertise in CAD software and building information modeling (BIM) tools will be essential in translating concepts into detailed schematics and construction documentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects, ensuring building code compliance and construction accuracy from initial design through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D drawings, schematics, and construction documents using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, or SolidWorks.
• Create accurate 3D models and visualizations utilizing tools like SketchUp, 3ds Max, Grasshopper 3D, Rhinoceros 3D, and 3D CAD modeling software.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to produce building information modeling (BIM) data that supports design coordination and construction planning.
• Prepare comprehensive construction detail documentation adhering to building codes and industry standards.
• Assist in building code analysis to ensure designs meet local regulations and safety requirements.
• Support schematic development and drafting of engineering CAD designs for various project phases.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback, maintaining accuracy and clarity throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills

• Proficiency with CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, SolidWorks, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Grasshopper 3D, Rhinoceros 3D, and other relevant design tools.
• Strong experience in construction detail documentation and drafting for architectural or engineering projects.
• Knowledge of building code compliance and building information modeling (BIM) practices.
• Skilled in 3D modeling software for creating realistic visualizations and technical models.
• Ability to analyze building codes and translate requirements into detailed drawings that support construction processes.
• Experience with schematic design development and engineering CAD design workflows.
• Excellent graphic design skills to enhance presentation quality of drawings and visual materials.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on complex projects.
