Growing, AS9100 Rev C Certified, Aerospace Company in Huntington Beach has an immediate opening for an experienced CNC Mill Setup person. Performs set-up and operation of various machine tools in order to accomplish production and prototype machinery functions. Performs CNC machining setup. 

 Looking for 1ST, 2ND and 3RD Shifts

EXPERIENCE: 

 2 years machining experience with CNC Mills and/or Lathes would be necessary.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES 

- Analytical/Problem solving skills

- Full knowledge of 3 (4&5 a plus) axis CNC milling machines or Lathes

-Oral and written Communication skills

-Ability to handle multiple programs and tasks simultaneously and efficiently

-Blueprint reading skills a Plus

-Professionalism and ability to interface effectively with all levels of personnel

-Ability to work in a team environment

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Must have own Tools

-Reads and interprets blueprints and production shop orders to plan setup and operation of CNC Mills and/or Lathes.

- Set up and operate CNC Mill and/or Lathe to make production parts according to blueprint specification.

-Completes other duties as directed by the Machine Shop Supervisor.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The majority of work is generally performed on the production floor, subject to moderate temperature changes.
