An HFT Prop Trading firm, well-known across Europe, is now expanding into the US — this time with a fully remote development team. With the trading divisions already built out, the firm is shifting focus to creating a centralized engineering team that operates entirely online. Hiring began on June 1st, and the goal is to attract top-tier C++ talent to help replicate the firm's European success and build a new HFT system from the ground up — no relocation required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize high-performance C++ applications for real-time trading and market data systems.
• Build and maintain ultra-low-latency, high-throughput systems that process large-scale financial data streams.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, and other engineers to implement solutions that meet both technical and business requirements.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in software engineering and contribute to continuous improvements in our codebase.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional experience in high-performance C++ development.
• Expertise in C++ with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming, memory management, and concurrency.
• Proficiency in optimizing code for low-latency and high-throughput systems.
• Experience with market data feeds, FIX protocol, or trading systems is a strong advantage.

Total Comp: Base of $250-300k, plus a significant GUARANTEED bonus making total comp up to $450-600k.
