On-Site 5 days per week in Tampa, Hybrid after allotted training.

25 Hours per week, flexible on days/times

About the Role:

We’re looking for a highly motivated Operations Associate to support daily operations across our e-commerce and small business units. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, learns fast, and isn’t afraid to figure things out as they go. If you’ve ever wanted to be part of something early-stage—where you’re empowered to solve problems, take initiative, and grow into leadership—this is that role.


You’ll be given 20% of a problem, and expected to figure out the next 40%. We’ll teach you what we can, and expect you to teach yourself the rest.


Key Responsibilities:


Assist with day-to-day operations across multiple business verticals, including inventory management, fulfillment coordination, basic reporting, and communications.


Support listings, sales, and marketing functions for our e-commerce business (Amazon, eBay, Shopify).


Research new tools, vendors, or solutions and help implement them in real-time.


Help document processes, manage ad-hoc tasks, and support the founders with projects ranging from customer service to business development.


Communicate directly with vendors, customers, and partners across functions.


Jump into whatever comes next—new systems, new product launches, and whatever today’s fire drill is.


Preferred Qualifications:

Technical Proficiency:

  1. Familiarity with business systems, cloud-based tools, and SaaS platforms (e.g., Airtable, Notion, Zapier, Shopify, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365).
  2. Comfort navigating new systems and technologies quickly with minimal guidance.

Excel & Data Analysis:

  1. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, conditional formatting, etc.).
  2. Ability to analyze basic performance data, identify trends, and present findings clearly.

People & Communication Skills:

  1. Strong written and verbal communication across professional settings.
  2. Comfortable managing internal and external communication, especially with vendors, customers, and teammates.
  3. Client service mindset with high attention to detail.

Problem-Solving & Initiative:

  1. Comfortable in a high-autonomy environment—knows how to take the first step and iterate from feedback.
  2. Bias for action—tries things, tests them, and learns from the outcome.
  3. Able to self-educate through online learning, forums, or tutorials.

Adaptability & Growth Mindset:

  1. Thrives in ambiguity and can prioritize competing tasks without much hand-holding.
  2. Wants to grow into a larger role—potential future responsibilities could include project management, technical implementations, vendor relations, or team leadership.
  3. Coachable, curious, and excited to build something from the ground up.
