Our client, a Leading Technology & Data Analytics Company, is seeking a Data Engineer / BI Developer to join their team remotely.

REMOTE (Flexible hours Monday–Friday, 40 hours a week)

6 Month W2 Contract (open to conversion/extension)

You will support the client by building and maintaining cloud-based data pipelines, transforming raw data into meaningful insights, and creating interactive dashboards to support business decisions.

Job Details:

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and publish interactive dashboards using Power BI.
2. Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Services and Databricks.
3. Transform and model data from multiple sources into data lake and data warehouse layers.
4. Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for analytics and reporting.
5. Write clean, modular Python code for data transformation and automation.
6. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and data quality.
7. Contribute to the development of data architecture and best practices for BI and reporting.
8. Demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Requirements:

1. Must Have:
2. 3–5 years of experience with cloud data platforms (Azure preferred).
3. 3–5 years of experience creating BI models and working with reporting tools.
4. 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Power BI and at least one other reporting tool.
5. Strong SQL skills and proficiency with Python for data-related tasks.
6. Experience working with ETL/ELT processes and large-scale data systems.
7. Strong problem-solving and communication skills; comfortable working in a team environment.
8. Ability to work with and learn multiple software-based tools.
