Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business & Entrepreneurship Teacher at The Harker School, located in San Jose, CA. The teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons in business and entrepreneurship to high school students. Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, facilitating classroom discussions, mentoring students on entrepreneurship projects, assessing student progress, and contributing to the broader school community through collaboration with colleagues and participation in school events.

Qualifications

  1. Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development
  2. Strong skills in Education, Classroom Management, and Student Engagement
  3. Excellent Communication and Collaboration abilities to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  4. Experience in Teaching and providing hands-on Training, preferably in business or related fields
  5. Understanding of entrepreneurship concepts and strategies, with a proven ability to teach and inspire students in this area
  6. Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  7. Experience working in a high school setting is beneficial
  8. A passion for fostering innovation, critical thinking, and creativity in young learners
