Your Role:

The Business Development Account Manager at VHA is responsible for sales and works closely with independent wireless store owners. This role involves using consultative sales strategies to assist business owners in achieving their goals. The candidate should be passionate, skilled in the "VHA way," and capable of building key relationships. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, key responsibilities include:

  • Business Owner Development: Creating strategies that align with owner goals and ideal outcomes.
  • Consultative Approach: Working with new and existing partners to enhance business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Owner Development: Collaborate with business owners to create strategies that align with their goals. Offer operational, organizational, and financial improvements to enhance Dealer/Owner performance. Continuously assess their businesses and suggest mutually agreed-upon solutions to boost profitability. Provide new business strategies based on sales trends and financial capacity.
  • Manage by Influence: Establish trusted advisor relationships with business owners and key stakeholders within the wireless industry.
  • Market Development: Gain a deep understanding of market dynamics affecting our customers. Implement national and local sales and marketing strategies in your assigned territory, promoting profitability, attracting new investors, and expanding market relationships.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred, or equivalent of 4 years of field sales experience.
  • 4 years of field sales/account management experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Occasional travel required (local and long distance).
  • Valid driver's license and successful background/drug screen test.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, with business hours from Monday to Friday. Some long hours and weekend work may be required.

Working Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, you may occasionally be required to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, sitting, using hands, reaching, climbing, stooping, talking, hearing, and lifting up to 20 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
