What You Will Be Doing
 

• Crafting Inspirational Spaces: Ensure our campuses resonate with Alpha's innovative ethos, using technology and sustainability to keep our facilities pristine and inspiring.
• Strategic Space Mastery: Lead the charge in event and space planning, turning everyday locations into hubs of collaboration and innovation for staff and leadership gatherings.

Building Engineer Key Responsibilities

Champion the transformation of our facilities into innovative learning environments, embodying Alpha's pioneering spirit and commitment to excellence.

Basic Requirements
 

• Ready and willing to work in Austin, TX, or relocate by June 1, 2024. (Relocation assistance is available.)
• At least 5 years of experience in facility or building maintenance, preferably in educational or tech-centric environments.
• Adept at using technology for facility management, embracing third-party software and smart building technologies.
• Exceptional skills in project management, budgeting, and leading teams towards common goals.
• Authorization to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
   

Nice-to-have Requirements
 

• Experience in managing facilities within the education sector, particularly those prioritizing innovation and technology.
• A passion for and background in sustainable facility management, showing a commitment to environmental stewardship and innovative practices.

Working with Crossover

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
