The brand management team is made up of entrepreneurial, innovative & fearless leaders who drive the growth, relationship & success of our brands. We are the “tip of the spear.” We are business industry experts, client relationship masters, and creative/performance champions.

The Brand Director is a passionate, collaborative, outgoing, creative-oriented leader. Mekanism’s overall goal is to become a critical piece of our clients’ marketing mix, to solve problems, not just execute on projects.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Build and Grow Relationships
- Be a main point of client & partner contact.
- Understand our client’s business and generate new ideas to enhance client performance.
- Make Amazing Creative
- Spend your days trying to create and produce amazing creative that helps our clients.
- Project Manage Many Moving Parts
- Develop timelines, traffic sheets, and creative rotations in tandem with production and media.
- Partner with finance to ensure invoicing, PO’s, travel approvals etc are all submitted in the necessary timeframe.
- Oversee account financial health with Group Brand Director oversight.
- Manage and drive the overall profitability of accounts
- Creative Brief, Strategy Development, and Presentation Improvement
- Partner with Brand Strategy to turn our client briefs into strong creative briefs for our creative leads.
- Maintain a strong presentation process with our clients, making sure all creative is presented in a strong and compelling way with a clear Mekanism POV.
- Effectively Manage Team
- Foster teamwork and a constructive work environment across a multidisciplinary group of social media, digital, creative & production teams.
- Help Develop Brand Management Department
- Help build the brand management at Mekanism. Identify and communicate ways to improve the team and department.
- Qualifications:
- At least 10 years account experience in a creative advertising agency
- A proven track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations.
- Must have video production experience with national and/or global brands. You should be able to drive the process flawlessly with grace.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees.
- Proven ability to change direction flawlessly on a dime and adjust quickly to shifting priorities and short timelines.
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- A “roll up your sleeves” attitude and a sense of humor.
