We’re looking for a Billing Analyst with strong Microsoft Excel skills to join the company’s existing Accounting team. This role is primarily responsible for calculating invoice amounts and creating invoice backup detail spreadsheets for our monthly customers.

This is a remote, full-time position (sorry, no contractors, vendors, or part time inquiries).

Got billing analyst skills? Got Excel skills? Here’s what we’re looking for:

• 1 – 2 years hands-on as a billing or invoice analyst.
• Demonstrable expertise using Microsoft Excel including the use of Pivot Tables, VLookup, creating complex formulas and other functions such as Index and Match.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Desire to continue growing through continuous improvement and training
• Proficient with MS Office, accounting software and databases
• Exceptional analytical skills
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and independent decision making
• Experience with analyzing contracts and creating billing templates a definite plus.

If that’s you, here are some of the things you’ll be responsible for:

• Creating monthly invoices with detailed backup spreadsheets for our clients using Excel
• Ensuring invoices adhere to the contract specifications
• Working with the technology team to automate complex tasks
• Working with other members of the team as well as other departments to ensure billing accuracy
• Perform special projects and other duties assigned by the manager.
