Leven Bakery & Cafe in Houston, TX is looking for baristas to join us on our mission. We are located on 4191 Bellaire Blvd #125.

This is not your typical restaurant…we actually source, prepare and serve real here.

Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

• Show up ready - for yourself, teammates and our customers
• Be a positive player and have a great attitude
• Sales: effective communication, product expertise, problem solving
• Educates customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu; answering questions.
• Generates revenues by attracting new customers; defining new and expanded services and products.
• Ensures a clean, safe, and productive workspace for customers and co-workers
• Occasionally access high storage shelving with the use of step ladder
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be 18 or older

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
• Prior café, coffee shop or restaurant experience a plus
• Familiarity with telephone, office, and point-of-sale software (like Toast)
