AWS DevOps Engineer

Location: Anywhere in United States, remote

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Specialist with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AWS Cloud and AWS Trusted Advisor and a strong background in the Cards & Payments domain. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud technologies while contributing to the company’s mission of delivering innovative payment solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Working knowledge of containerization (Docker)and supporting technologies
2. Experience with Orchestration tools like Kubernetes
3. Experience working with CICD pipeline and having knowledge of ATDD framework
4. Experience maintaining automated build systems such as Jenkins
5. Familiarity with Splunk/ DataDog, Pager duty for investigating or monitoring problems on systems
6. AWS Domain Skills- AWS IAM, AWS RDS, AWS EC2, AWS ECS, AWS Services, step function, AWS (CloudFormation, Lambda)
7. Experience maintaining automated build systems such as Jenkins

Required Qualifications:

1. Experience maintaining large clusters using configuration tools such as: Ansible, Chef
2. Experience in integrating test automation into DevOps pipeline
3. Experience in Source control management such as GitHub
4. Must know Python/ Shell scripting and Groovy, AGILE methodology

Salary and Other Compensation:

1. The annual salary for this position is [$49,000 to $107,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
2. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
