AWS DevOps Engineer

Full Visibility is seeking an Amazon Web Services (AWS) DevOps Engineer to work remotely. Candidate must possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

The AWS DevOps Engineer will be responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements. Typical duties include analysis, planning, developing requirements documents, building functional container infrastructure models, developing procedures, developing functional architectures, and other related management and technical duties. The candidate will develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, collaborate with development teams to automate the build, test, and deployment processes, ensure infrastructure as code using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform, and optimize the development workflow and improve deployment frequency and reliability. The AWS DevOps Engineer will provide subject matter proficiency for work described in the task.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance

• At least ten (10+) years of IT systems administrative experience with both Microsoft and Linux platforms

• Proficient in AWS tools such as: Kubernetes, EKS, Diode, Lambda etc. (not all inclusive) orchestrated/deployed in a cloud environment

• Experience developing code in at least one high-level programming language; building highly automated infrastructures; and administering operating systems. Understanding of modern development and operations processes and methodologies

• Ability to implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on AWS

• Ability to implement and automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation

• Possess the ability to define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems on AWS

• IAT level II certification

• AWS certification or training in AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS SysOps Administrator, or AWS DevOps Engineer. Three (3) years proven relevant experience may be substituted as applicable to each certification or training.

Preferred:

• AWS DevOps Engineer Professional Certification
